EXCLUSIVE: New BRMC Video!

SPIN.com has the exclusive debut of San Francisco rockers Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's new video for "Beat the Devil's Tattoo," the title track from their SPIN-approved new album. And -- guess what? -- the video lives up to the song's ominous title. Watch below.

The band of leather-clad bad-asses take a ride in an old-school van, smoke a carton of cigs (presumably full flavor for extra grit), and rock out in a packed nightclub, as the song's stomping beat, tambourine, and bluesy guitar lend a dark yet catchy melody to the mysterious vibe.

BRMC enjoy exploring their dark side: they contributed a new song, "Done All Wrong," to the soundtrack for 2009's vampire flick New Moon.

Catch BRMC on tour behind "Beat the Devil's Tattoo" this spring. Read SPIN's review of the band's tour kickoff right here.

Agree with the above comments about the music video not living up to expectations. I like what they did for the cover of the Pogues' Dirty Old Town MUCH better: http://50.drmartens.com/artists/black-rebel-motorcycle-club

I am big fan of brmc but this video sucks, it doesnt have a meaning, there is nothing interesting to take from. I know they want to do everything by themselves but some things you should leave it to professionals. I love you guys anyway!

Come on, it is a good video.

You all know the one thing that could've made this better was more of the handsome fellow that appears at 1'33". Come on!

Other than that, perfect (like the dude at 1'33", incidentally)

:P

Great band. Great song, but this video is just not innovative. Doesn't match how creative they are musically. Just sorta boring.

Great mix of their acoustic "Howl" (my fave album of theirs) and their 1st (my 2nd), glad to see these guys are still around!

Truly awesome and genuine band...video is a bit odd, but hey--they are trying to be less pre-digested-commercially-entertaining, so i'll see what i think after watching a few times :)

The new BRMC album is a welcome return to their past. It's like they learned how to rock again! But I gotta agree with Jim "The Destroyer". This video is a yawner.

I also saw them in San Francisco a few years back, and I hyped it up all the way to my friends who hadn't heard of them. They put on a boring show! My friends don't listen to my music advice anymore. Always razzin me about Black Motorcycle Ass Bandits as they like to refer to them. I sincerely hope they've reignited their live show like they have their music.

Really cool video...Love BRMC's sound, always gritty and unique. One of the most under-appreciated bands out there.

Amazing ****ing band that sweats love on stage. Saw them a week and a half ago and I'm still in afterglow.

The video though is boring.

I dig it man. It looks like a movie and has a good feel to it. Probably the best one since the video for Stop. The new record is ace too, I've been playing it all day.

What a ****in' yawn. Yeah, I actually was thinking about this band the other day; I was hoping to God that they'd disbanded. Saw them at a little club in L.A. many years ago. ****ing dullest show ever.

No apparent improvement since then.
